A creative event took place online between the park "Ashgabat" and the cultural and entertainment park "Ashgabat" in the twin city of Tashkent, the Republic of Uzbekistan, heads of municipal administrations, cultural figures and masters of art of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, the Republic of Tajikistan, the Republic of Turkey. Representatives of Ashgabat's twin town - Albuquerque (USA) and the Austrian-Turkmen society attended the event.

According to those speaking during the event, strengthening fruitful ties with the states of the planet, first of all, with neighboring countries in the region, the comprehensive development of international cooperation in the field of culture are key components of the foreign policy of Turkmenistan, carried out under the leadership of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov based on the principles of neutrality.

Wide celebration of the 140th anniversary of Ashgabat further strengthens the prestige of our country. Today, the white-marble city amazes with its beauty, framed by emerald green squares and alleys, modern highways, new residential areas.

Those speaking during the meeting focused on the fact that at present the relations of Turkmenistan with various world countries, including with the closest neighbors, had reached a new level. This progress has been achieved thanks to the steadily growing aspiration of friendly countries to deepen a confidential dialogue.

Upon completion of the official part with greetings and congratulations addressed to President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and the Turkmen people on the occasion of the 140th anniversary of Ashgabat and the 30th anniversary of independence, masters of culture and arts of Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkey, Uzbekistan presented their performances. First Chairperson of the Committee for Cooperation between the Twin Cities of Albuquerque and Ashgabat, Ms. Sally-Alice Thompson and the Albuquerque dance group (USA), as well as Head of the Austrian-Turkmen Society - Neda Berger took part in the cultural event.

The participants of the creative meeting presented their musical compositions glorifying friendship between peoples.
