On the occasion of the end of the 2020-2021 academic year and the Day of Farewell Bell, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov addressed a congratulatory message to secondary school graduates, teachers and all employees of the education system of Turkmenistan.

“The most valuable asset created by humanity is upbringing, and the basis of upbringing is science and education. Therefore, I am firmly convinced that the events held on the occasion of the Farewell Bell ceremony will increase the high sense of patriotism among our youth. The coincidence with the Day of Ashgabat gives the celebration a special appeal. By tradition, festive events will be held in all secondary schools of our country,” the President of Turkmenistan said in his congratulatory address.

According to the Turkmen leader, making a worthy contribution to the prosperity of the Fatherland should be the main goal of the younger generation. Having entered a new stage in their life, young people should confidently go forward, getting new knowledge, strengthening the authority of the Motherland.

“We attach great importance to improving the education sector within the framework of national programmes, concepts and large-scale transformations. We create broad opportunities for the consistent enrichment of the essence of education and the acquisition of world-class knowledge by the young generation by introducing the latest scientific achievements into the education system, creating new specialized complexes and developing digital education.

“This helps young people to receive modern education that meets international standards, to increase the level of knowledge in the chosen specialty, to stimulate them to scientific and creative work, and to broaden their horizons.

“State care for the younger generation gives positive results. Our youth demonstrate great results and win prizes at international Olympiads and competitions.

“Education is the foundation of innovation, creativity and progress. Guided by this lofty goal, we attach great importance to improving the education system in the development of the state.

“High qualifications and effective work of teachers and employees of the education system are of great importance for the development of the younger generation,” the President of Turkmenistan underlined in his Address.

In conclusion of the congratulatory address, the President of Turkmenistan expressed belief that the Turkmen youth would apply every effort to increase the authority of the Motherland.
