Traditional ceremonies have been held in all secondary schools of the country on occasion of Last Bell.

Message of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, which was read out at the celebrations on occasion of the end of 2020 – 2021 educational year, was a good advice to the graduates of secondary schools.

After few days, the graduates will have to pass through the last and responsible exams. High-school certificate will open many roads and opportunities to continue education in the universities of the country and in higher educational institutes abroad to yesterday’s school students.

It is remarkable that this year the Last Bell ceremony has fall on the 140^th anniversary of Ashgabat, which is brightly celebrated this year. The atmosphere of the holiday has filled white-marble Turkmen capital with special mood, joy, beautiful music and scent of flowers.

According to the tradition, early in the morning the best graduates of the schools, winners of various education and art contests as well as personnel of educational sphere have laid flowers to the Monument of Independence.

The events took place on the square in front of the State Circus and big concert with participation of art master in Ashgabat song and music center took place in the end of this unforgettable day, which united the celebration of the 140^th anniversary of the capital and the Last Bell ceremony. Song “White City Ashgabat” on the lyrics by President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov was a final chord of the evening.

A poem written by the President of Turkmenistan was included to his new book “White City Ashgabat” and put on music written by grandson of the head of the state Kerim. This song was sung as an anthem of love of Turkmenistan’s citizens to their forever young and blooming capital.

Grandiose firework, which bursts were sounded at the end of the concert, saluted the events on occasion of the 140^th anniversary of Ashgabat and the Last Bell ceremony.

Various cultural and public events have been held in all regions of the country.
