President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov expressed deep condolences to the Federal President of the Federal Republic of Germany Frank-Walter Steinmeier and Federal Chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany Angela Merkel over numerous casualties, injuries and massive destruction that occurred as a result of the flooding in the west of the country.

On behalf of the people, the Government of Turkmenistan and on his own behalf, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov conveyed words of sincere empathy and support at this difficult moment to the families, relatives and friends of the victims, as well as wished for a speedy recovery to the injured.
