Today, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held a working meeting with the participation of Cabinet Deputy Chairmen, Mejlis Chairman and Deputy Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Milli Gengesh, members of the State Security Council, heads of some ministries and sectoral departments.

They discussed necessary measures to prepare for a worthy celebration of significant dates, further improve the country’s legal base, develop draft laws in some areas, as well as widely promote the humane domestic and foreign policy of our state together with members of the Halk Maslahaty and Mejlis Deputies of Milli Gengesh, representatives of political parties and public organizations at the local level.

Among the main topics of the workshop is the implementation of the foreign policy strategy of Turkmenistan, based on the principles of positive neutrality, peacefulness, open door policy, good neighborliness and mutually beneficial cooperation.

The head of state noted that, the solemn military parade, as all cultural and mass events dedicated to the sacred independence, should reflect the love of the personnel for their native Fatherland, the unshakable creative spirit of the native people and encharged with particular tasks in this regard.

Then it was reported on rate of the constructions carried out at the facilities that are planned to be built and put into operation in honor of the 30th anniversary of the sacred independence of our country. 

Also, during the working meeting, the head of state, having heard a report on the celebrations and other state and cultural events held on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the great independence, gave concrete commissions to the appropriate executives.

Concluding the working meeting, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov wished all participants sound health, family well-being and work progress for the benefit of our Motherland.
