Comprehensive care for children, creation of favorable conditions for their physical and spiritual development, safeguards for the rights of young Turkmen citizens to education, health care and many other things are the most important aspect of the socially oriented policy pursued by President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.

In accordance with the Decree of the President of Turkmenistan, in order to provide social support to the younger generation in the epoch of might and happiness and assistance in restoring the health of children in need of care, as well as to create favorable conditions for their happy life, to form high human qualities in them, the special charitable foundation was created in March this year.

The Charitable Foundation for Assisting Children in Need of Guardianship, which was named after Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov according to the Resolution of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan, carries out large-scale work. For example, new ambulance cars, supplied with modern equipment, were handed over to the pediatric departments of hospitals in etraps and cities in the Balkan, Dashoguz and Lebap velayats. The keys to special-purpose vehicles were presented personally by the President of Turkmenistan during his working trips to the regions this summer.

These days, the President of Turkmenistan has made decision to allocate funds from the Charitable Fund for various surgeries to children in need of guardianship in the medical institutions of Ashgabat and velayats of the country.

Young patients and healthcare workers expressed deep gratitude to President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov for his tireless concern for the health and well-being of young citizens, who stand as the main wealth, pride and priceless heritage of our state.
