Warmly greeting each other, the leaders of the two nations expressed satisfaction with the high level and fruitful nature of interstate relations based on long-standing ties of friendship, brotherhood and good neighborliness.

During the conversation, President Sayyid Ebrahim Raisi congratulated President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov on the successful holding of the presidential elections in Turkmenistan, which became a striking illustration of the unity and cohesion of the Turkmen society, its commitment to the principles of genuine democracy.
