President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, on behalf of the people and the Government of Turkmenistan, as well as on his own behalf, sent sincere congratulations and best wishes to the President of the Syrian Arab Republic Bashar Al-Assad and the people of the country on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Turkmenistan and the Syrian Arab Republic.

Relations between our countries are based on mutual respect, equality and mutual trust, the head of state noted in his message, emphasizing that Turkmenistan is interested in expanding bilateral ties.  Confidence was also expressed that thanks to joint efforts, cooperation between our countries will continue to develop in the interests of both peoples.

Taking this pleasant opportunity, the head of Turkmenistan expressed warm wishes to President Bashar Al-Assad for good health, happiness and well-being, and to the people of Syria peace, progress and prosperity.
