On November 8, comprised of popular singers, renowned musicians and dancers, Turkmenistan’s delegation took part in a grand opening ceremony of the International Turkic Culture Festival held in the Republic of Korea. The agenda of the international forum included the issues of further exploration and global promotion of spiritual values of Turkic peoples and the cultural interaction. Grand opening of the Festival was held in the theater of Yong National Museum of Korea. In their speeches, the members of delegations stressed the significance of the action for advancing and deepening the creative and spiritual links between the peoples of Turkic-speaking countries, for exploring their richest national heritage as an important contribution to the universal cultural treasury. The Turkmen national art was represented in all its diversity by popular singers, “Galkynysh” folk dance group and bakhshi singers. Colorful ceremonial performance of Turkmen artists was enthusiastically welcomed. The gala concert with participation of all participants of the Festival that sounded as a true hymn of peace, friendship and creative union of the peoples was a grand finale of the impressive creative event. Demonstration of “Shukur Bakhshi” (“Contest”) - one of the Turkmen classic movies, and a round-table meeting were also in the agenda of festival.
