Today, on the occasion of the 31st anniversary of the sacred independence of the Homeland, the “Oguzhan” Palace hosted the ceremony with the participation of President of Turkmenistan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the country Serdar Berdimuhamedov, a to present high state awards to military personnel, and confer higher military and special ranks, as well as classes to members of the State Security Council.

Then the head of state declared that on the occasion of the 31st anniversary of sacred independence, he decided to present state awards to leaders, personnel and employees of military and law enforcement agencies who made a great personal contribution to strengthening the sovereignty and defense capability of the Homeland, maintaining security, public law and order in the country, as well as confer on them military and special ranks, and classes, having signed the relevant Decrees.

In this regard, Minister of Defense, Secretary of the State Security Council B. Gundogdyev read out the Decrees of the President of Turkmenistan, the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Turkmenistan.

The head of state awarded Minister of National Security, Colonel G.Annayev with the Order of Turkmenistan “Garaşsyzlyk”.

The Minister of Security, accepting the award with gratitude, swore an oath of boundless fidelity to his military duty, the Homeland, the people, and the President of the country.

Then the head of state conferred the special rank of police colonel on Minister of Internal Affairs, police colonel lieutenant M. Hydyrov.
