Today, the twenty-first meeting of the sixth convocation of the Mejlis of the Milli Gengesh of Turkmenistan was held in the capital, the main issue on the agenda of which was the review by the deputies of the draft Law “On the State Budget of Turkmenistan for 2023”, as well as the draft Resolution “On the execution of the State Budget of Turkmenistan for 2021”.

Deputy Chairpersons of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan, the heads of ministries and departments, and representatives of the media were invited to participate in the meeting.

A preliminary discussion of the documents submitted for consideration by the deputies took place in all committees of the Mejlis, as well as at the ministries and departments of the country, the hyakimliks of the velayats and the city of Ashgabat.

During the meeting, the parliamentarians discussed achievements in the state and public activities of the country, the basic approaches and principles for drafting the State Budget for 2023, and the specifics of the formation of its revenue, etc.
