Today, a ceremony has been held in the city of Kerki, Lebap Velayat, to open a new pharmacy built as part of the implementation of state reform programs.

According to the celebration participants, comprehensive development of the domestic healthcare system is the most important factor in the socially-focused policy being consistently implemented by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov.

It was emphasized that within the framework of implementing the “Saglyk” State Program, which was recognized as a strategic, socially oriented project, hospitals, medical and health-improving facilities provided with the latest medical equipment and medications were put into operation and are under construction in all regions of the Homeland.

As the head of Turkmen state highlights, human health is the highest value of society and the state, and therefore, work will continue in the field of developing the modern healthcare system and medical industry in accordance with world standards, which, on the one hand, is aimed at taking preventive measures to protect people’s health, including the promotion of the healthy lifestyle principles, attracting citizens, especially youth, to physical training and sports, and on the other hand, provide timely and high-quality medical services.

Special attention is paid in our country to building up the capacity of the pharmaceutical industry, where the range of products today includes hundreds of medicine varieties that meet international standards. Thanks to successes in this area, the quantity and quality of vital domestic medicines are systematically increasing. Enterprises have been opened for the production of medicines from medicinal herbs and plants growing in the Turkmen land.

Thus, there are plans for 2024 to open a new enterprise for the production of glycyrrhizic acid as a division of the Lebap Complex “Buýan”, under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Health and Medical Industry, which produces medicines based on licorice root.

Turkmen business people are making a significant contribution to development of the pharmaceutical industry. The new building is another example in this area.

The pharmacy system establishment with a total area of 500 square meters that meets modern requirements is owned by the individual enterprise “Tebigat Çeşmesi, a member of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, which has experience in managing such facilities in the regions of the country.

The one-story spacious and light building was efficiently designed to accommodate a sales hall convenient for customers, departments of medicines and therapeutic equipment, a warehouse, etc.

The pharmacy offers a wide range of high-quality and affordable medicines and medical-purpose products manufactured in our country, miraculous medicinal plants of the Turkmen land, as well as medications and special equipment from leading European manufacturers.

The pharmacy staff, working without breaks and days off from 7.00 to 23.00, is employed of experienced pharmaceutical chemists, pharmacists, and medical advisers. This enables customers to get timely and qualified advice on all matters of their concern.

All conditions have been created for the convenience of visitors. In particular, the premises have been completed with modern equipment and connected to a digital system. Goods can be purchased both for cash and non-cash payments. In addition, there is a help desk, and a delivery service is planned.

As part of the event, performances by creative groups, singers and musicians were organized that increased the festive atmosphere.
