President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov arrived in the Republic of Azerbaijan on a working visit.

During the visit, the head of state will take part in the Summit of the Non-Aligned Movement in the format of the Contact Group on Combating COVID-19.

The main topic of the meeting, which will be chaired by the Azerbaijani side, is to discuss topical issues of developing partnerships and expanding cooperation in the context of overcoming the consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Also, it is planned to hold a bilateral meeting of the President of Turkmenistan with the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, during which issues of further development of mutually beneficial cooperation will be discussed.
