On December 10, a grand ceremony of opening new monuments took place in the capital of the country with the participation of the heads of city khyakimlik, representatives of public organisations, numerous townsmen, representatives of young generation of Turkmen citizens. Erected on the circular road junctions of the reconstructed highways – the sections of N. Andalyp and Magtymguly avenues - these massive sculptural compositions became a celebratory gift to the citizens of Ashgabat on the eve of Neutrality Day. At the circle, in the place of crossing of N. Andalyp and «10 yil Abadanchylyk» avenues, a monumental-decorative tracery tower «Zemin» was built. As if weaved from a shining metal lace, a globe-like structure at the top of the tower symbolises our planet. The globe is supported by a column «embracing» it above, like keeping in the palms. And the whole sculpture reminds a huge flower blossoming out towards the sun. Other composition - «Ebedilik», decorated the crossroad of the N. Andalyp Avenue and Yunus Emre Street. The artistic concept of the composition uncovers the idea of continuity of life. In its abstract forms one can guess both a life wheel and a symbol of infinity in the figure-of-eight structure; the dynamics of continuous movement and the tendency of the human thought to penetrate through centuries and spaces. The following surprising sculpture is «Jebislik». It is located on the circle at the junction of the N. Andalyp and A. Niyazov Avenues. The artistic concept of the composition uncovers the idea how the numerous streams blend together to form a single powerful flow capable to overcome any obstacles on its way. But predominating in the composition is the torch - as an emblem of freedom, fire, light, life, spirit and reason, and also as a sign of continuity of traditions. On the circular interchange of N. Andalyp and Galkynysh Avenues, there is one more original plastic composition - «Ösüsh». Its graceful (despite monumentalism) «string» stylistics embodies the growth and development, revival and updating, reverence and simultaneously the energy of life. At the junction of the N. Andalyp and Magtymguly Avenues, the picture was enlivened by the huge sculpture representing swallows - «Erkanalyk», which symbolises free flight of spirit, thought, and nobleness of sincere impulses. One more monument one can see at the circle of Magtymguly and Aba Annaev Avenues - «Chemen». Simplicity and laconism of its form contain in itself a big polysemy, after all, a bouquet – an attribute of celebration, we connect the best wishes with it - happiness, love, abundance, health, successes. And it is also a symbol of association of hearts, expression of sincere feelings, gratitude and admiration. The participants of the ceremonies of launching new sculptural compositions also walked along the redeveloped streets of Ashgabat, who – by foot, and who by double-decked buses specially assigned for this case and decorated with the balloons, emblems of the Year of Honouring the Heritage, Transformation of the Motherland and the 21st anniversary of neutrality of Turkmenistan. From the windows of buses, the fine view of well arranged highways opens. That same day, in Ashgabat, the two multi-level parking lots (240-car and 400-car capacities) were launched. Constructed in compliance with of world standards, they are designed to increase the conformability of parking lots for the ever-growing number of private motor cars.
