Winners of the Asia Ju-Jitsu Championship awarded with the gifts on behalf of the President of Turkmenistan

The ceremony of awarding Turkmen athletes - the winners of the Asia Ju-Jitsu Championship took place at the National Institute for Tourism and Sports. Valuable gifts were awarded to the winners on behalf of the President of Turkmenistan. Government officials, heads of the State Committee for Sports, the National Olympic Committee, the Organizing Committee of the V Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games, coaches and sportsmen took part in the awarding ceremony. Turkmen athletes won 33 medals, including six gold medals, nine silver medals and 18 bronze medals. Amina Halyllayeva (under 45 kg weight category), Angelina Filippova (under 55 kg), Ogulnar Atdaeva (under 62 kg), Violetta Krovyakova (over 70 kg) won the first place in the ne-waza (ground technique) events, and Ahmed Tanriberdiyev and Yusuf Tanriberdiyev demonstrated the best results in the duo-show evens, Dmitry Rus and Patma Hodjiyeva were the best in the duo-classic contests.
