The President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, speaking at a meeting of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, noted the need to develop the country's construction and industrial complex.

«Build and create is the main slogan of the new epoch of the Revival of a powerful state», –said the head of state.

According to the President of Turkmenistan, a huge amount of work is being done in the construction and industrial complex aimed at creating innovative industries, radically transforming the social and living conditions of the population, and a clear example of economic development is the transformed appearance of the country’s cities and villages.

«We are creating all the necessary conditions for increasing the capacity of the construction industry and developing the production base of entrepreneurship in this direction», –emphasized President Serdar Berdimuhamedov.

The head of state noted that the country has accumulated positive experience in the production of non-metallic building materials, cement, expanded clay, and building glass.

«By the end of this year, capital investments in the amount of 545 million 55 thousand manats will be spent on the construction of the Turkmenbashy-Farap and Ashgabat-Dashoguz highways and the bridge across the Garabogazkol bay», –said the President of Turkmenistan.

According to the head of the Turkmen state, in cooperation with the UN Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), it is necessary to develop certain areas of the country's industry.

«For these purposes, it is necessary to develop joint projects and programs for further development of industrial marketing areas, increasing the competitiveness of entering world markets, and improving management experience», –the President of Turkmenistan emphasized.
