The delegation of the Industrialists and Entrepreneurs Union of Turkmenistan had paid a working visit to Kazan - the capital of the Republic of Tatarstan. The delegation made an air trip on board of the newly launched flight of “Turkmenhowayollary” - Ashgabat-Kazan. The trip had been arranged on the invitation of the Investment Development Agency of the friendly country. During the visit, the Turkmen business delegation had been received by President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnihanov. The sides had discussed the ways of enhancement and prospects for expanding bilateral trade-economic cooperation in the private sector. Special emphasis was made on the innovation component of business interaction. President of Tatarstan had conveyed to President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov words of sincere appreciation for the comprehensive support in the development of the Turkmenistan-Tatarstan mutually beneficial business relations. The agenda of visit included also the talks with the head of the Small and Medium-Size Business Association of Tatarstan. The parties had agreed to unleash the sides’ potential available, got acquainted with the main activities of major companies and private enterprises, and had outlined the areas of ​​direct contacts. Turkmen businessmen had visited the Open Joint Stock Company ""Nefis-product"" and its industrial complex, where the members of Turkmen delegation had been informed about the advanced technology applied for the production of the facilities used for packaging and storage of finished products. Moreover, Turkmen delegation had meetings at the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Chamber of Commerce of Tatarstan and discussed the prospects of interaction with representatives of the relevant agencies and companies. In Kazan, the Turkmen businessmen had visited Technopolis “Himgrad”. They have acquainted with the work of shops and factories for the production of various polymers, polymer materials, and varnishes, etc. The trip of the delegation became one of the essential steps towards solving the tasks set by President Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov to businessmen in studying the best international practices applied in creating and operating the innovative industrial enterprises. The newly started flight Ashgabat-Kazan of the Turkmen Airlines will considerably contribute to promoting business and industrial contacts, as wells as cooperation in the economy, culture, tourism, education.
