On the last day of his working visit to Beijing, the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov met with the Chairman of the PRC Xi Jinping at the House of the People.

Before the meeting, Hero-Arkadag and the Chairman of the PRC were photographed against the background of the State flags of Turkmenistan and the People's Republic of China.

During the negotiations, the parties discussed the key vectors of Turkmen-Chinese interaction, which demonstrates progressive dynamics on a bilateral and multilateral basis and is built with a long-term perspective.

At the end of the meeting, as part of Hero-Arkadag’s working visit to the PRC, bilateral documents were signed. These include: The Agreement between the Government of Turkmenistan and the Government of the People's Republic of China on technical and economic cooperation and the Memorandum of Understanding between the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan and the General Administration of Customs of the People's Republic of China on cooperation in strengthening the capacity of the Authorized Economic Operator Program.
