Today, the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov left on a working visit to the Republic of Kazakhstan to participate in the 10th summit of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS).
At Astana International Airport named after Nursultan Nazarbayev, Hero-Arkadag was met by officials of the Republic of Kazakhstan and members of the government delegation of Turkmenistan.
It is expected that the National Leader of the Turkmen people, during a working visit to Astana, will also hold negotiations with the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.
In November 2021, Turkmenistan joined the OTS as an observer and work is currently underway to join the Turkmen side to the Union of Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Turkic States. Hero-Arkadag is a member of the Council of Elders of the OTS and actively participates in the work of this structure.
