The session dedicated to discussion of the objectives followed from the Resolution signed by President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov on the day before on the improvement of facilities and equipment base of National Institute of Sport and Tourism and opening of new faculty was held at the above-mentioned educational institution. The faculty will conduct scientific training of sportsmen who will be able to participate in international level competitions and achieve high results. Representatives of the State Committee for Sport, Ministry of Education, the Democracy Party, different non-governmental organizations, coaches and leading sportsmen took part in the session. It was mentioned during the meeting that Ashgabat host more often the international tournaments including Asian championships in different sports. In September of the next year, the Olympic village, which is built by the initiative of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, will host the V Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games where more than for 5000 athletes from 62 countries will participate. This is a record for such type of Games. Realization of new Resolution will determine new round in the development of national sport and Olympic movement and special status of sport achievements. Besides, new Resolution on encouragement of the sportsmen who win the prizes in Olympics and other large international competitions as well as their coaches with money awards will be developed by the order of the Head of the State.
