President Serdar Berdimuhamedov sent on behalf of the people and the Government of Turkmenistan and on his own behalf heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to the President of the People's Republic of China Xi Jinping, the Premier of the State Council of the People's Republic of China Li Qiang, the Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress Zhao Leji and the friendly people of the People's Republic of China on the occasion of the bright Spring Festival, which heralds the beginning of the new year and the awakening of nature.

"The Spring Festival, with its deep historical roots, is an important and widely celebrated holiday in China. May the upcoming new year bring health, happiness and prosperity to all the people of the country," President Serdar Berdimuhamedov said in his message. Noting with satisfaction that the relations between Turkmenistan and the People's Republic of China are consistently expanding and gaining new content based on the principles of equality and mutual respect, the head of state expressed his readiness to continue joint efforts to elevate Turkmen-Chinese strategic partnership to new heights. 

Taking this pleasant opportunity, the President of Turkmenistan extended wishes of robust health, family well-being, happiness and great success in their state activities to the President of the People's Republic of China Xi Jinping, the Premier of the State Council of the People's Republic of China Li Qiang, and the Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress Zhao Leji, and wishes of peace, progress and prosperity to the friendly people of China.
