Prospects of Turkmen-Russian cooperation discussed

Today, a meeting was held in the capital between the Chairperson of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan D. Gulmanova and the Deputy Chairperson of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Konstantin Kosachev.

The subject of an interested discussion was the prospects for bilateral inter-parliamentary cooperation, expansion of the exchange of experience in the legislative sphere.

The meeting also discussed organizational issues related to holding the next Inter-Parliamentary Forum of Central Asian Countries and the Russian Federation, designed to promote the strengthening of multilateral mutually beneficial partnership.

In conclusion, the parties expressed confidence in the successful development of inter-parliamentary relations, enriching them with new content.
