Today, the International Conference «Interconnection of Times and Civilizations - the Basis of Peace and Development» was launched in the capital under the chairmanship of the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov. 

The venue for the high-level Forum, in which the President of the Republic of Armenia Vahagn Khachaturyan, the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Masoud Pezeshkian, the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, the President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Japarov, the President of Mongolia Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh, the President of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Asif Ali Zardari, the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev arrived in our country, was the large conference hall of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the country.

The guests include the Chairman of the Grand National Assembly of the Republic of Türkiye, the Head of the Republic of Tatarstan of the Russian Federation, the Chairman of the UNESCO General Conference, heads of international organizations, members of foreign governments, famous scientists, cultural figures and diplomats. The forum is held as part of a large program of celebrations of the 300th anniversary of the great Turkmen poet and philosopher Magtymguly Fragi, which includes many festive events organized both in our country and abroad.

 The main goals of the international conference are to popularize the classical heritage of Magtymguly Fragi, to study the relationship between the languages and literatures of the peoples of the East, his role in the development of national statehood, and the contribution of the poet-humanist to the treasury of universal spiritual values.
