On October 11, 2024, the National Leader of Turkmen people, Chairman of Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov met with the head of the Turkmen-Austrian Society Neda Berger, who arrived in our country to participate in important events.

Thanking the National Leader of Turkmen people for finding time for the meeting, the guest noted that it was a great honor for her to be in Turkmenistan during the celebration of the anniversary of the poet and thinker Magtymguly Fragi.

Neda Berger emphasized the successful holding of the VI Vienna Ball in the city of Arkadag and the importance of organizing this significant event in the year of the 300th anniversary of the birth of the great poet. The guest expressed her sincere gratitude to the Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, as well as the President of Turkmenistan for their support in successfully holding the Vienna Ball in the city of Arkadag, which has no analogues in the region.

The Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan thanked Neda Berger for her kind words, highly appreciated her work in establishing partnerships in the fields of culture, art, and mass media and thanked her for her efforts to bring the two countries closer together, strengthen the bridges of friendship and cooperation. In this regard, confidence was expressed that her current visit to Turkmenistan will also be an important step in expanding bilateral relations.
