During familiarization with the situation at Mary hydro power station, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov spoke with the personnel of the facility and answered the questions. Having noted the scale of the energy industry, the President of Turkmenistan highlighted growing opportunities of the processing industry, which is very important at the current stage. The Head of the State mentioned that the processing of natural gas would promote the increase of production of different products, which are in demand in the world market and what in its turn would increase the income to the state budget. Thus, new enterprises and additional work places will be established what will stipulate the increase of the prosperity of the people and national economy. Stressing the attention on road constructions, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov highlighted the necessity of scientific analysis for the construction of new modern highway Ashgabat – Mary. Speaking of the importance of further development of scientific and educational spheres, private activity, productions and livestock branch, the head of the State mentioned the input of large number of people, who work in different spheres of national economy. The President emphasized that the state programmes, aimed at steadfast improvement of the wellbeing of the people, are successfully implemented. Fir the short period of time, our country turned to be industrially developed state and achieved great successes in foreign policy. We implement the policy “The State for a human!” The Constitution mentions that human being is the main value of the state and society. Protection of the humankind, support and service to it have to be the main objective of the government bodies. That is why there is everything in the country for the sake of the people, prosperous life of the citizens, upbringing of new generation as happy and prosperous people, for the further prosperity of the Motherland, - the President of Turkmenistan said. To achieve these high targets, it is necessary to bring our country to the level of the leading industrially developed states of the world. it is also necessary to expand the promotion of competitive high quality goods in the foreign market as well to establish the production of import substitutive goods. According to the programme, the work for establishment of electronic industry is carried out in the country. Numerous large plants and factories are built in the country. The fulfilment of the set objectives will serve to increase of the currency income to the country, - the President of the country mentioned, having highlighted that these means would be sent for the constructions of social facilities and increase of wages, pensions and government allowances. The President of Turkmenistan also note that integrated steam and gas power station, which is currently under construction, is of the great importance for the country. After the commissioning, the power output of Mary State Power Station will be increased twice, electrical supply of the domestic consumers will be improved 1.5 times, the emissions will be reduced and the excesses of the energy will be exported what will result in additional income. 100 new work occupancies will be established after put of the enterprise into operation. Having expressed the interest in conditions of work, rest and timely payments, the Head of the State discussed the views and opinions of the participants and answered the questions on forthcoming Presidential elections.
