The businessmen from Turkey procured technical sulphur by the State Concern “Turkmengas”. Besides, the wheat, cotton fabrics and yarn, cotton fibre and raw silk were sold for foreign currency as well. The countries that purchased these materials are Russia, Turkey, Iran, Afghanistan, Belize and Ukraine. Total amount of the transactions exceeded 17 million 215 thousand US dollars. For internal market, domestic businessmen bought polypropylene (Turkmenbashy Refinery Complex) and wheat for total amount of 2 million 791 thousand manats.
