Today, Vice President for Medical Activities of the Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Care named after Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Oguljahan Atabayeva met with the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers in charge of culture, as well as with female heads of the country's mass media. The meeting discussed issues related to the health of young Turkmen citizens and the development of their creative abilities.

As noted, as a result of large-scale reforms initiated by scientist Arkadag in the domestic education system and now successfully implemented under the wise leadership of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, the comprehensive development of the country's young generation, its deep integration into world science are among the priority tasks of state policy.

In particular, a detailed discussion was held on the organisational status and significance of the International Conference «Year of Peace and Trust: Development of International Activities in the Interests of Children», which will be held on the occasion of the fourth anniversary of the establishment of the Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Care named after Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.

As reported, the country attaches particular importance to protecting the health of mothers and children. It should be noted that the activities of the Foundation are primarily aimed at addressing health issues and providing assistance to children who have suffered as a result of accidents in our country and other countries of the world.

In this regard, the advisability of announcing the competition «International Year of Peace and Trust: Children's Outlook, Worldview» with the support of the Foundation was noted. As reported, concern is being shown at the state level about raising a harmoniously developed, highly erudite generation in the country.

The creative competition is open to children aged four to eleven. It will be held among children in preschool institutions and students in comprehensive schools in three areas, such as painting and applied arts, music and dance, and Turkmen national games.

At the meeting, special attention was paid to the results of the activities and humanitarian work of the Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Care named after Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov over four years, which must be widely popularised. The country's media should constantly cover the noble initiatives being implemented in this area.

It should be noted that, guided by humanistic principles, the Foundation, at its own expense, helped restore the health of more than 500 sick children, as well as equip children's hospitals operating in different parts of the country with the most modern medical equipment. In this regard, during the meeting, emphasis was placed on the effective use of innovative methods by printed media and television and radio broadcasting in our country to popularise activities of universal significance, which is also important for highlighting noble activities in the international arena. It should be noted that the Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Care named after Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov does everything necessary to reveal the creative abilities of young people and achieve their great goals.

Atabayeva noted that the competition, which has a special role in revealing the creative abilities of the younger generation, should be approached responsibly, ensuring a high level of organisation. 

The large-scale activities of the Foundation, based on humanistic principles, should be widely covered in the press, on television and radio broadcasting channels. Along with the media, the Information Centre of the Ministry of Health and Medical Industry of Turkmenistan and the intensification of its joint work with the relevant structures are of great importance in this area. 

In particular, information related to the equipment of the country's healthcare institutions should be widely covered in the international media, as well as within the country. Therefore, the preparation of materials should be approached innovatively, relying on modern best practices.
