“Dowamat” Stele has been built at the intersection of N. Andalib Street and Oguzkhan Street. Its globe-shaped structure consists of six columns curved in the shape of a crescent, which symbolize six sons of the ancestor of the Turkmen – Oguzkhan. Its internal design highlights the central concept of a qualitatively new meaning of modern statehood, intergenerational continuity, unity and solidarity of the people of Turkmenistan, its commitment to strengthening peace, friendship and cooperation among nations. One more stele consisting of three rising steel columns in the shape of flame – “Alaw” has been erected at the intersection of N. Andalib Street and Gerogly Street. Its artistic design has a concept of the common hearth, well-being and prosperity.
