Today, in the «Avaza» National Tourist Zone, a meeting was held between the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, who arrived in our country on a working visit to participate in the summit of Turkmenistan, the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Uzbekistan.

During the one-on-one meeting and in an expanded format with the participation of delegations of both countries, it was noted that effective cooperation between the two countries is based on a solid foundation of friendship and political will to increase cooperation in all areas.

In this context, it was emphasised with satisfaction that in recent years, bilateral relations have reached a qualitatively new level.
