Today, a ceremony was held here to open new facilities of the State Energy Institute of Turkmenistan, including an additional educational building, a dormitory, a sports complex, and the "Täze kuwwat" monument along the bypass road. These new buildings, a wonderful gift for the Day of Knowledge and Student Youth, are another confirmation of the systematic strengthening of the scientific and educational base of the country's energy industry.

The ceremony was attended by the hakim of Mary velayat, the executive secretary of the National Commission of Turkmenistan for UNESCO, deputies of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan, members of the velayat, city and etrap halk maslahaty, representatives of public organizations, media, as well as foreign structures, the institute's faculty and students, and respected elders.

During the celebration, there was a theatrical performance by artists of the Kemine State Drama Theater of Mary velayat and musical performances by students of the State Energy Institute of Turkmenistan.

Then, a message from President Serdar Berdimuhamedov to schoolchildren, students, teachers, and education workers of Turkmenistan was read on the occasion of the Day of Knowledge and Student Youth.

As noted in the President's message, knowledge is the foundation of all our achievements and of a happy and prosperous life. Knowledge lights our way from a glorious past into the future. Since ancient times, the Turkmen people have been known to the world for their pursuit of knowledge, passion for science, prudence, and wisdom. Adhering today to these admirable qualities, we are carrying out colossal work to improve and elevate the national education system to a qualitatively new level.

As those speaking at the ceremony noted, as a result of the successful reforms in the profile sphere initiated by the Hero Arkadag, the national education system under the leadership of Arkadagly Hero Serdar received a new impulse for development. Modern educational institutions have been commissioned and are being constructed across the country, and the material and technical base of existing ones is constantly being improved. Thanks to this, a young generation that is intellectual, highly educated, and patriotically minded is being formed in the homeland.

The newly opened facilities today provide additional opportunities for training highly qualified specialists for the country's energy sector. Special attention was given to the creation of modern conditions for acquiring knowledge and advanced skills in renewable energy. Participants in the ceremony on this festive day expressed sincere gratitude to the National Leader of the Turkmen people, the Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty, Hero Arkadag, and the Head of State for the wonderful buildings that have become decorations of the velayat center.

Then, respected elders and guests cut the traditional ribbon at the entrance to the new building. At that moment, to joyful applause and music, white doves and colorful balloons soared into the sky.

The ceremony's participants entered the additional educational building, equipped with modern technologies, and familiarized themselves with the conditions created here.

The construction of the new institute buildings was carried out by the private company "Röwşen" on behalf of the Ministry of Energy. Among the commissioned facilities are an additional educational building for 2,000 seats, a dormitory for 800 seats, and an indoor sports facility. The additional educational building has 18 general classrooms for 50 and 80 seats, 28 classrooms for practical lessons, 6 computer labs, 6 language labs, and 57 training-laboratory rooms. In addition, it houses the Scientific-Production Center "Renewable Energy Sources," a museum, a young scientists' room, a library, an electronic library, zones for large and small IT technologies, an e-sports hall, a robotics and artificial intelligence center, a 500-seat conference hall, a smaller conference hall, and a creative center.

The laboratories and classrooms are provided with advanced equipment and computers. The instruments and equipment installed in the laboratories from leading manufacturers in Germany, Spain, Italy, and China provide broad opportunities for practical lessons in electrical engineering. For instance, there is an experimental device for the steam turbine installation of a power plant — a product of the Spanish company "EDIBON SCADA System," which presents the thermal schemes of steam turbine installations. This device allows students to observe thermal phenomena occurring in steam turbine setups and teaches them the processes of starting and maintaining the installation.

The "KUKA" robot project is presented in the robotics and artificial intelligence laboratory. It demonstrates the structure, movement mechanisms, sensor systems, and software control of industrial robots by the German company "LUCAS-NUELLE." Using this robot, students can thoroughly study automated systems used in industry.

At the opening ceremony, there were presented developments and inventions by students of the State Energy Institute of Turkmenistan. The scientific research and experimental work to be conducted with the equipment installed in the new educational building will contribute to increasing youth interest in science and professional development.

The building has systems that efficiently use natural resources and renewable energy sources. Rainwater is collected in special ponds, purified, and used for watering the institute's gardens. Solar panels with a capacity of 132 kW are installed on the roof of the building, providing an environmentally clean energy source used for lighting through converting solar energy into electricity.

As is known, in our country rich in hydrocarbon resources, great importance is attached to the development of environmentally clean and safe types of thermal energy as well as its environmentally friendly forms. In this regard, effective and mutually beneficial relations with foreign partners are being intensified. As a result, a multifunctional solar and wind power plant is being built in the Gyzylarbat etrap of Balkan velayat. Currently, several modern power plants equipped with gas turbines from leading global companies operate in the country, and new ones are being constructed.

As a result of the opening of the additional educational building and other material and technical innovations, the State Energy Institute of Turkmenistan will further enhance its scientific and educational capabilities in training top specialists with a broad outlook and experience in implementing modern technologies in the energy sector.

The institute's dormitory, designed to accommodate 800 students, consists of 4 floors, with four students living in each room. All conditions for independent living, rest, and preparation for studies have been created here.

The two-story indoor sports facility, commissioned today, houses a gym on the first floor and a training hall on the second floor, equipped with equipment from foreign companies.

A 30 kW wind power station and a 15 kW solar power station are part of the complex of facilities near the "Täze kuwwat" monument, built along the bypass road adjacent to the new educational building of the institute. Electricity generated by the wind and solar power plants will be used for the lighting system. Overall, the new facilities have become a beautiful decoration of the city, demonstrating the country's commitment to the state policy of developing environmentally clean energy and ensuring environmental well-being.

In the building's conference hall, video presentations were shown to ceremony participants introducing the features of the additional educational building, dormitory, sports facility, and the "Täze kuwwat" monument along the bypass road.

Then, the solemn awarding of certificates from international organizations took place, confirming that the new facilities meet high global standards. In particular, a letter of appreciation was presented by the UNESCO Institute for Information Technologies in Education for implementing modern innovative technologies in the digital education system according to international standards in the new buildings of the State Energy Institute of Turkmenistan. The Latvian Sustainable Building Council and the UN Development Programme also awarded "green" certificates for successfully implementing innovative technologies that contribute to energy efficiency in constructing the new school building; effective use of equipment generating electric and thermal energy from renewable sources; successful introduction of advanced technologies promoting efficient water use; consistent and successful implementation of sustainable energy development measures; and active youth involvement in these activities. Additionally, the construction of the new educational building was recognized with a special certificate from the German Society for International Cooperation for using modern innovative technologies.

Representatives of international organizations noted that participation in the opening ceremony of new educational and other facilities equipped with high-tech equipment on the Day of Knowledge and Student Youth, widely celebrated in Turkmenistan, was an unforgettable event opening a new chapter in expanding international scientific and educational ties in energy.

Then, in the conference hall, in accordance with a decree of the President of Turkmenistan, a Memorandum of Understanding signing ceremony was held between the State Energy Institute of Turkmenistan and Clausthal University of Technology of the Federal Republic of Germany and Martin Luther University of Halle-Wittenberg. Foreign representatives at the event confirmed their commitment to further cooperation in training highly qualified specialists for the energy industry.

The faculty and inspired student youth of the State Energy Institute of Turkmenistan expressed great gratitude to the President of Turkmenistan and the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Hero Arkadag, for the current celebration on the occasion of opening the complex of modern facilities. The ceremony concluded with musical performances by artists praising our happy era.
