During his working visit to the United States, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov met with the Crown Prince of Kuwait, Sheikh Sabah Al-Khalid Al-Sabah.

Expressing satisfaction with the opportunity to discuss the current state and future directions of bilateral relations, the two leaders expressed confidence that the results of today's meeting would contribute to the further development of mutually beneficial cooperation.

Taking the opportunity, the Crown Prince of Kuwait congratulated the President of Turkmenistan on the successful holding of the Third UN Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries in Avaza and asked him to convey his warm greetings to the National Leader of the Turkmen People, Hero Arkadag.

Thanking for the kind words, the head of state emphasized that Turkmenistan attaches great importance to strengthening equal dialogue and mutually respectful partnership with the State of Kuwait and conveyed warm greetings and best wishes from Hero Arkadag to the Crown Prince of the State of Kuwait, Sheikh Sabah Al-Khalid Al-Sabah.

It was emphasized that cooperation between Turkmenistan and the State of Kuwait is developing effectively both bilaterally and within the UN and other international organizations.

The interlocutors identified the fuel and energy, transport, and communications sectors as promising areas for expanding bilateral cooperation.

The interlocutors also noted the availability of opportunities to increase mutual export and import potential, and develop mutual trade.

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov also noted the broad prospects for cooperation in the cultural, humanitarian, scientific, educational, sports, and tourism sectors.

Emphasizing that, in accordance with the United Nations General Assembly Resolution, 2025, declared at Turkmenistan's initiative as the "International Year of Peace and Trust," coincides with the 30th anniversary of our country's permanent neutrality, the head of state invited Sheikh Sabah Al-Khalid Al-Sabah to participate in the International Forum, which will be held on December 12 in Ashgabat.

Thanking him for the invitation, the Crown Prince of the State of Kuwait noted the importance of Turkmenistan's foreign policy, which is based on positive neutrality.

At the end of the meeting, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov and Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Al-Khalid Al-Sabah expressed confidence that interstate relations will continue to develop and exchanged best wishes.
