Today, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov made a working trip to Balkan velayat where he took part in the stone-laying ceremonies of a complex for manufacture of urea with an annual capacity of 1 million 155 thousand tons in the territory of Turkmenbashi etrap as well as the Turkmenbashi-Garabogaz section of the Turkmenbashi-Garabogaz-border of Kazakhstan highway. The head of the state also participated in the opening of the water-purifying construction with a daily capacity of 20 thousand cubic metres in Esenguly etrap and the automobile bridge over the gulf of the Garabogaz kol.

In the morning, at the International airport of the capital officials saw off the head of the state.

In some time, the airline of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov landed at the International airport of Turkmenbashi city.

There khyakim of Balkan velayat informed the President of the country a happy news of fulfilment of cotton production plans by tenants-cotton growers of the region.

The head of Turkmenistan received with satisfaction the information, congratulated cotton growers of the velayat on their labour achievement, and wished them further successes.

The head of the state by car went to the venue of the stone –laying ceremony of a complex for manufacture of urea with an annual capacity of 1 million 155 thousand tons in the territory of Turkmenbashi etrap.

On the occasion of the significant event, the Chairwoman of the Mejlis, deputy-chairmen of the Cabinet, heads of ministries and branch departments of the country, the khyakim of Balkan velayat and numerous guests gathered there.

Song and music performances of workers of culture and art increased the festive atmosphere of the event.

The head of the state proceeded to the specially equipped conference hall and made a speech on the occasion of the commissioning and stone laying of new projects.

Addressing participants of the celebration, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov pointed out that today on the occasion of Day of workers of the construction and industrial complex we participate in the stone-laying ceremony of important projects in Balkan velayat - a complex for manufacture of urea in Turkmenbashi etrap and the Turkmenbashi-Garabogaz-border of Kazakhstan highway.

«We also will solemnly put in operation the water purifying facility in Esenguly etrap of Balkan velayat, the automobile bridge over the gulf of Garabogaz kol», - the head of the state said and sincerely congratulated all on Day of workers of the construction and industrial complex as well as with the opening and stone laying ceremonies of new projects.

As he marked, now according to the Program «Revival of the new epoch of the powerful state: the National program of social and economic development of Turkmenistan in 2022-2052» and «Program of the President of Turkmenistan for social and economic development of the country in 2022-2028» an effective work is carried out to  develop the national industries on  an innovative basis.

The hi-tech, export-focused manufactures are created. As a result, an assortment and volumes of release of high-quality production regularly extend, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov continued his speech and underlined that during the International exhibition and conference «Development of construction, industrial, chemical and energy sectors of Turkmenistan» which will be held tomorrow in the Avaza national tourist zone, achievements and successes of the country in these spheres will be widely presented.

As the head of the state underlined, the new complex for manufacture of urea, a stone of which will be laid today in Turkmenbashi etrap of Balkan velayat, is one of the large investment projects. Now in the country factories "Tejenkarbamid", «Marykarbamid» and «Garabogazkarbamid» operate. The new complex will also correspond to the international ecological standards, its construction will be carried out by the consortium of companies "Mitsubishis Corporation" (Japan) and «Gap Inşaat» (Turkey). High technologies from leading companies of Europe and Asia will be applied there.

The modern complex is designed for daily release of 2000 tons of ammonia and 660 000 tons a year, which will be used as raw materials for urea manufacture.

As a whole, the factory will produce 3500 tons daily and 1 million 155 thousand tons of urea fertilizers annually. Its production will be also exported.

At the modern enterprise, more than thousand new workplaces will be created and the majority of involved profile specialists had undergone training in higher educational institutions of the world. There for them all conditions will be created.

As a whole, the new complex for manufacture of urea will bring a powerful contribution to the further development of national chemical industry. It will give a powerful impulse to prompt progress of national economy, the President of Turkmenistan underlined and marked that its dynamical growth opens many opportunities for the further improvement of social conditions of the population of the country, maintenance of peace, security and happy life of our people.

Our wise ancestors considered construction of roads and bridges as a noble cause, having transformed it into a noble principle, which at present adequately proceeds in the road and transport infrastructure of Turkmenistan, which is the heart of the Great Silk road. Regular construction of new roads and bridges clearly testifies to it in the country.

«Here today we place in operation the modern automobile bridge over the gulf of Garabogaz kol. This project has been realised by Turkmen builders together with limited liability company "Altkom", - the head of the state noted. The general extent of the modern bridge constructed on the Turkmenbashi-Garabogaz-border of Kazakhstan highway, makes up 354 metres and width of 21 metres.

Speaking of the fact that today the stone of the Turkmenbashi-Garabogaz-border of Kazakhstan highway will be also laid, the head of the state underlined that on this modern highway with a general extent of 207 kilometers all necessary conditions will be created for passengers and drivers.

As he marked, the new project of road and transport infrastructure will become an important component of international transport routes. The bridge and highway considerably will increase volumes of turnover of goods, transport and passenger transportation between the western and northern regions of our fatherland, and neighbouring countries and will promote growth of turnover of goods in the International sea port of Turkmenbashi.

Speaking of today's solemn commissioning of the seawater purifying facility with a daily capacity of 20 thousand cubic metres in Esenguly etrap of Balkan velayat, the President of Turkmenistan especially pointed out its equipment with modern technologies from European companies.

As the head of the state underlined, a complex work is carried out in Balkan velayat of the country for its social and economic development. Here the powerful industrial enterprises, social and cultural projects are consistently under construction and placed in operation.

Now in Turkmenbashi etrap of Balkan velayat construction of the power station of combined cycle goes on at high paces. In the settlement of Guwlymayak of Balkan velayat, the complex of social and cultural projects is erected.

Having noted that construction of a modern settlement, and multifunction solar station in Gyzylarbat etrap of Balkan velayat are at the final stage, the President of Turkmenistan underlined that work on development of regions of our independent fatherland will be continued.

Having warmly congratulated participants of the stone laying ceremony of the complex for urea manufacture in Turkmenbashi etrap of Balkan velayat and Turkmenbashi-Garabogaz-border of Kazakhstan highway  as well as the solemn commissioning of the water-purifying facility in Esenguly etrap of Balkan velayat and the automobile bridge over the gulf of Garabogaz kol on the occasion of Day of workers of the construction and industrial complex widely marked in the International year of peace and trust, the head of the state wished all sound health, family well-being and great successes in their work.

Then, a specialist of the water-purifying facility, speaking online, underlined that the new project placed into operation not only promotes strengthening of basis of maintenance with pure potable water, but also testifies to the fact that the most valuable riches of the country - health of the individual - are a priority area in the realised state policy. Taking an opportunity, on behalf of all workers of the branch he expressed warm gratitude to the President of Turkmenistan and Hero-Arkadag for the conditions created for work, having wished sound health, long years of life and the further successes in their activity for the benefit of our country and people.

Then, the specialist requested the head of the state to give his blessing for the commissioning of this important project into operation.

To the applause of participants of the ceremony, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov gave his blessing to open the new water-purifying facility.

In framework of the «National program of the President of Turkmenistan for transformation of social conditions of the population of villages, settlements, cities of etraps and etrap centres for the period till 2028» in all velayats of the country modern water treatment facilities will be constructed and put into operation.

The given water-purifying facility located on the area of 8 hectares, equipped with the latest European technologies can attest clearly to the fact. It is capable to make up 20 thousand cubic metre of pure potable water from seawater a day.

Further, the ceremony proceeded with opening of the automobile bridge over the gulf of Garabogaz kol online.

Resident of Balkan velayat, Honourable elder of Turkmenistan A.Begjanov, speaking online, noted that noble traditions of our ancestors, such as construction of roads and bridges, prosper thanks to initiatives of Hero-Arkadag and efforts of the President of Turkmenistan. In this connection, on behalf of all inhabitants of Balkan velayat he expressed warm gratitude to the head of the state and National Leader of the Turkmen people Hero-Arkadag.

Then, A.Begjanov requested the head of the state to give his blessing for the commissioning of the automobile bridge.

The President of Turkmenistan gave his blessing online for the opening of the automobile bridge over the gulf of Garabogaz kol.

Honourable elders and grey-haired mothers cut a festive ribbon on the occasion of opening of the new automobile bridge. On the platform specially prepared on the bridge, performances of workers of culture and art took place.

The general extent of the bridge constructed according to the Resolution of the President of Turkmenistan of June 16, 2022 «On construction of the automobile bridge over the  gulf of Garabogaz kol», located on the Turkmenbashi-Garabogaz-border of Kazakhstan highway, makes up 354 metres. Its width with two flights and two lanes of 21 metres and a total length of access roads is equal to 2000 metres.

Constructed within modernisation of internal road and transport system of the country the modern bridge connects the cities of Turkmenbashi and Garabogaz to the brotherly state of  Kazakhstan, laying international transport corridors. Besides it, this automobile line is a part reliable of motor and road systems of Central Asia connecting Iran, Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan.

The automobile bridge is urged to promote expansion of trade and goods turnover, transport and passenger transportation between western and northern regions of the country and neighbouring countries. It is economically effective for carriers from Russia, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Iran and India, allowing reaching the countries of Northern and Western Europe by sea, railway and motor transport.

Besides it, it will create additional possibilities for local business for trans-boundary trade with neighbouring countries. With a view of expansion of commercial possibilities and increase of the importance of safety of traffic on certain sites of the highway lanes for roadside services will be created.

Further, celebrations proceeded with the stone laying ceremony of the complex for urea manufacture.

As he marked, thanks to great undertakings of National Leader of the Turkmen people Hero-Arkadag and the far-sighted state policy realised under the leadership of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, Turkmenistan has reached big heights and confidently moves forward. A great significance is given to complex development of all branches of economy. Along with other spheres, the state gives particular attention to the further development of chemical industry, regularly making large investments.

Ahmet Chalyk expressed his huge gratitude to the head of Turkmenistan for the participation of his company in construction of the new project, called to bring a considerable contribution to development of chemical industry of our country, and for the possibility to be present at today's ceremony.

Then, the Chief Executive Officer of the Japanese company Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd. Eisaku Ito spoke, first of all having expressed his gratitude for the possibility to be present and make a speech at the stone-laying ceremony of the new complex for urea manufacture in Turkmenistan.

As he marked, thanks to the support of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov and National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan Hero-Arkadag, the company «Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd.» realised a number of projects in Turkmenistan. The fact that building of this complex is carried out today, is also a subject of special pride for representatives of the given company.

After speeches the video of the new complex with an annual capacity of 1 million 155 thousand tons of urea, which will be constructed in Turkmenbashi etrap of Balkan velayat was shown.

Construction of the complex for urea manufacture was entrusted to the Turkish company «Gap Inşaat Yatirim ve Di ş Ticaret A. Ş.» and the Japanese company «Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Ltd.».

The ammonia production technology will be carried by the Danish company "Topsoe", urea synthesis - the Italian company "Saipem" , urea manufactures - German company "Thyssenkrupp", and technology of recycling CO2 in manufacture - the Japanese company «Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd.».

Further, the President of the country left a memorable note on the occasion of the stone-laying ceremony of the complex for urea manufacture.

Then, video clips of the site of the Turkmenbashi-Garabogaz of the Turkmenbashi-Garabogaz-border of Kazakhstan highway were shown.

This modern highway will consist of four lanes. The width of the road will make up 27,5 metres, width of roadway - 7,5 metres from each side , width of the lane - 3,75 metres. For lane safety will be divided among themselves by a special concrete protection, on both sides of road barriers will be established.

This modern highway with a general extent of 207 kilometres from the city of Turkmenbashi will proceed to the automobile bridge over the gulf of Garabogaz, further to a ring junction around the factory "Garabogazkarbamid" and runs go the frontier with Kazakhstan.

The quality of the road covering will be provided thanks to modern technologies and  consist of several layers. The levelled and condensed soil layer will be laid: geotextiles, coarse-grained gravel-sandy mix with the thickness of 30 cm, fine-grained gravel-sandy mix with the thickness of 20 cm, cellular coarse-grained hot asphalt with the thickness of 8 cm, dense coarse-grained hot asphalt with the thickness of 7 cm and as a finishing layer dense fine-grained hot asphalt with the thickness of 5 cm with the subsequent ramming.

Along this modern highway, which will serve 580 vehicles an hour and 14 000 vehicles a day, building of 8 bus stops, and parkings, filling stations and social projects appointment is planned. The modern equipment of video observation with the data storage server will equip entrances and departures on the highway.

Realisation of building-design works on the site of Turkmenbashi-Garabogaz of the Turkmenbashi-Garabogaz-border of Kazakhstan highway will promote increase of transport-logistical potential of our country and transformation into an important link of international transportation.

Then, the President of Turkmenistan left a memorable record on the occasion of this significant event.

Further, the head of the state arrived into place where the stone-laying of the new complex for urea manufacture took place.

A boy in the national costume with a shovel in his hands addressed the President with the request to lay a foundation for the new complex for urea manufacture and handed over a capsule with a memorable record.

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov put a capsule in the foundation of the new complex and threw the first shovels of concrete, having started to its building.

Participants of the ceremony followed the example of the head of the state.

There, at the desire of children, the President of the country was photographed with them, and handed them gifts.

Then, the President of Turkmenistan went to the place of the beginning of construction of the site of Turkmenbashi-Garabogaz of the Turkmenbashi-Garabogaz-border of Kazakhstan highway.

On the way, the head of the state familiarised with machinery, which will be used in civil work.

This technical park testifies to the economic power of Turkmenistan and plays an important role in successful realisation of the planned building projects.

On the ceremony venue, workers of culture and art presented their performances.

Then, the head of the state at the desire of the representative of the younger generation to the storm of applause of the present lowered a capsule with a memorable record into  the foundation of the building site and the first shovels of concrete, following noble tradition of our people, having blest this undertaking.

At the desire of children, the President of the country was photographed with them and handed them his gifts.

On the platform where there the ceremony was held, songs and music of our favourite native land, great changes of our new historical epoch, its high creative spirit sounded.

On completion of the celebration, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov warmly said goodbye to participants and left the place.

So, the solemn opening of the water-purifying facility in Esenguly etrap and the automobile bridge over the gulf of Garabogaz kol as well as stone-laying ceremony of the complex for urea manufacture in Turkmenbashi etrap and the site of Turkmenbashi-Garabogaz of the Turkmenbashi-Garabogaz-border of Kazakhstan highway marked a new stage in development of the country. These large-scale initiatives, implemented under the leadership of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, confirm a priority of Turkmenistan on steady economic development, peaceful life of people and firm adherence to good-neighbourhood.
