Today, under the chairmanship of National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov a regular meeting of the organizational state committee on preparation for events devoted to the 30th anniversary of permanent neutrality of the country and on the occasion of the International year of peace and trust was held. During the meeting, held with participation of members of the Government, a wide spectrum of issues of corresponding organizational – financial matters were considered.
Speaking of the agenda of the meeting, Hero-Arkadag pointed out to the approach of the significant anniversary - the 30th anniversary of permanent neutrality of our independent fatherland and its wide celebration.
Realising the peaceful foreign policy, Turkmenistan carries out an effective work in this sphere and puts forward important initiatives. Unanimous adoption of the Resolution «2025 - the international year of peace and trust» by the General Assembly of the Organization of the United Nations at the initiative of Turkmenistan became one of the significant events. It serves another step on the path to maintenance and strengthening of peace, security and sustainable development in the world, Hero-Arkadag said further.
Speaking of regular international events on the occasion of the International year of peace and trust and the 30th anniversary of permanent neutrality of Turkmenistan held in our country and abroad, Hero –Arkadag underlined that the representative forum devoted to the international year of peace and trust, which will take place on December 12 of the current year, will have a special significance in popularisation of the peaceful doctrine of our state globally.
Having made an emphasis on the necessity to use the best efforts for holding this international event and festive actions at the high level, Hero-Arkadag heard reports of corresponding heads on the work, which is carried out in the given sphere in subordinate structures.
As he marked, with a view of celebration of Day of Neutrality of Turkmenistan, which takes an important place in the national calendar, together with profile structures appropriate measures are taken. In this regard, reports on preparation of the program of celebrations and other actions were delivered.
So, on the occasion of significant dates, large scale cultural events will be organised. To guests - participants of festive celebrations will enjoy a high degree of service according to principles of national hospitality.
Within the preparation for the actions held on the occasion of permanent neutrality of Turkmenistan, a great significance is given for their wide popularisations abroad. Due work is carried out to form a group of volunteers involved in holidays and selection for its structure most distinguished young teachers and active students.
Thus, the special attention is given to issues of maintenance of participants of international actions by high-quality communication and the Internet.
Summing up reports, National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov noted the necessity of a complex approach to well-organised conduction of the celebrations timed to this significant date. As Hero-Arkadag underlined, in organization of festive events it is important to attach special attention to propagation of our peace-loving policy of our country.
The Turkmen state, the legal status of neutrality which was recognised three times, enjoys a great prestige in the world, carries out active international cooperation with a number of the countries, Hero – Arkadag said and marked that in that connection, it is necessary to use the best efforts for the well-organised conduction of the international actions on the occasion of the significant date.
Having noted that in days of historically significant celebrations, the culture of trade and social service should correspond to the international standards and national traditions of hospitality, Hero-Arkadag gave a valuable advice in this respect.
Cultural and mass events, organized within the celebration of Day of Neutrality of our fatherland, should reflect the level of the progress reached by it in all areas, grandiose successes of the country and triumph of the peaceful foreign policy pursued under the leadership of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov. At the same time, it is necessary to highlight the anniversary festivities widely in the media space, Hero-Arkadag noted and gave a number of recommendations in this respect.
At the meeting of the organizational state committee, chaired by Hero-Arkadag, important instructions, concerning the opening of shops in Ashgabat and velayats and organisation of trade in various kinds of the goods, including souvenir and memorable production, and granting of possibilities for acquaintance with dishes of the national cuisine were given.
The necessity of organisation of public cultural events and theatrical events connected with the anniversary at high level, their extended coverage in mass media, conduction of corresponding work on printed matter preparation on the occasion of the holiday was marked.
Besides it, the importance of the well-organised conduction of international scientific-practical conferences was underlined. One should also ensure a high level of training of teachers and students, which will participate in the international celebrations as volunteers and translators, Hero-Arkadag said.
One should hold the issues connected with the welcoming of guests and their departure, provision of high quality telecommunication services in holidays under a strict control, Hero-Arkadag underlined, gave corresponding heads a number of recommendations.
Hero-Arkadag made an emphasis on the fact that for holding upcoming celebrations at high level it is necessary to take corresponding measures on accomplishment of our capital – Ashgabat city and to fulfil this work properly. As a whole, successful organization of international actions will visually show noble traditions, hospitality and all-round prosperity of our land. A wise saying of our people «Gelen-döwlet» should find its reflexion in it. As known, on the basis of the proposals, which arrived from our people, by presentation of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan Arkadagly Hero Serdar approved the symbol of 2025. As the President of Turkmenistan pointed out, in 2025 30 years will become for permanent neutrality of our country and 80 years for establishment of the United Nations Organization.
The symbol of the International year of peace and trust is green poplar directed up with strong roots and branches reaching the sky, symbolising progress of our permanent neutral land, and national flag of our peaceful country, the flag of the Organization of the United Nations. Placing of the white falcon, one wing of which is green, symbolising our independence, and another - dark blue, symbolising our permanent neutrality and olive branches, symbolising peace, gives a deep significance to the emblem.
Hero-Arkadag noted that the values embodied in the symbol of the international year of peace and trust, should find a wide reflexion in celebrations, ornaments and souvenirs in honour of widely marked 30th anniversary of permanent neutrality of our country and gave a number of recommendations to corresponding heads to that end.
Hero-Arkadag also marked that it is important to explain the growing generation at schools a deep sense of symbol of the International year of peace and trust and to bring up them in the spirit of patriotism.
Having expressed confidence that festive actions, organized together with the United Nations, will become an important step to the strengthening of peace and trust in the planet and bring a contribution to realisation of the goals of sustainable development, Hero – Arkadag summed up the next meeting of the organizational state committee.
Ahead of us are big goals, for their successful fulfilment are available all conditions, the Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty said and wished all successes in holding the planned actions at high level, further strengthening the international authority of our independent, permanently neutral fatherland. Having familiarised with the possibilities created in the modern luxurious building of the International centre of Congresses for holding planned actions, Hero-Arkadag underlined the necessity of using the best efforts for maintenance of appropriate organisation of international conferences held here. In this context, it is necessary to give a great significance to use of he advanced world experience and digital technologies. Hero-Arkadag noted the necessity of regular monitoring of the issues connected with harmonious work of communication system and the Internet, having given the corresponding recommendations.

Then, Hero-Arkadag visited the International centre of receptions, located in a picturesque corner of the capital. Here all conditions are created for reception of honoured guests according to traditions of the national hospitality. Thereupon, it was noted that it is necessary to make a complex approach to the organisation of international celebrations on the occasion of significant dates.
Hero-Arkadag emphasised that the given actions should have a Great significance for formation of pleasant memoirs on our remarkable country and Turkmen people in foreign guests and gave corresponding recommendations to heads.
During acquaintance with preparation for forthcoming anniversary celebrations Hero-Arkadag visited the hotel "Arkadag" where all conditions for reception are created for high-ranking visitors and representatives of international organisations. Hero-Arkadag wished all successes in realisation of tasks in view to hold the planned international actions at the high organizational level and left the place.
