Today, the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, welcomed the President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Japarov at the International Airport in the capital.

According to national tradition, the distinguished guest was presented with bread and salt, as well as flowers.

Then, in the airport building, a meeting took place between the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, and the head of the friendly state.

Hero-Arkadag thanked President Sadyr Japarov for accepting the invitation to the International Forum dedicated to the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s permanent neutrality and for visiting our country.

The head of Kyrgyzstan expressed his gratitude for the invitation, emphasizing the importance of the Forum to be held in the Turkmen capital.

During the conversation, the sides noted the mutual interest of Turkmenistan and the Kyrgyz Republic in further developing their traditionally friendly interstate relations across a wide range of areas.
