Today, on the eve of the New Year proclaimed as “Independent Neutral Turkmenistan – the Homeland of Purposeful Winged Horses,” a festive celebration was held at the “Maslahat köşgi” Palace, built in accordance with modern principles of national architecture. Among the guests of the event, organized by the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Guardianship, were children from the Jahan Creative Center, other children, as well as the main symbols of the New Year—Ayaz Baba and Garpamyk.

The New Year celebrations also include cultural and mass events dedicated to a worthy welcoming of the year “Independent Neutral Turkmenistan – the Homeland of Purposeful Winged Horses.” This became clear evidence that every day of the happy era, thanks to the efforts of the Hero-Arkadag, is filled with joyful moments and unforgettable events.

In our Fatherland—the country of a happy childhood—bright dreams come true. In this regard, it should be noted that caring for the upbringing of an educated, physically strong, and erudite younger generation is one of the priority directions of the socially oriented state policy implemented under the leadership of the President of Turkmenistan.

The children participating in the celebration expressed their gratitude to the Hero-Arkadag and Arkadagly Hero Serdar for comprehensive care and the wide opportunities created. Then, with enthusiasm, they invited the main heroes of the New Year—Ayaz Baba and Garpamyk—to their performance. The distinguished guests of the event noted that today the work of the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Guardianship is being successfully continued as a result of consistent support from the Vice President of the Foundation for Medical Activities, Oguljahan Atabayeva.

Speaking at the festive celebration, the Head of the Administrative Office of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, R. Bazarov, on behalf of the Hero-Arkadag and Arkadagly Hero Serdar, warmly congratulated the children participating in today’s performance on the New Year. As was emphasized, the state constantly takes care of revealing the creative abilities of the younger generation. Once again congratulating the young citizens of the happy era, R. Bazarov wished them great success in their studies and expressed confidence that they would grow up to be devoted sons and daughters of the Motherland.

The festive celebrations continued with lively song and musical performances by children from the Jahan Creative Center. Thanks to the great attention of the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Guardianship, the creative abilities of the talented children of this center are being increasingly revealed.

As is known, the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Guardianship is aimed at positively resolving issues related to supporting young citizens of Turkmenistan in need of care and providing appropriate treatment to sick children. This is clear evidence that the noble traditions of wise ancestors, laid down throughout history and considered a model for the entire world, are being developed in accordance with the spirit of the modern era.

The song “Aýterek-Günterek,” performed by the joyful children of the Jahan Creative Center and beloved by many generations as an ode to a happy childhood, enhanced the significance of the celebration organized here and heightened the festive atmosphere.

The children were presented with gifts on behalf of Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Guardianship. All of this testifies that the efforts undertaken in our country to protect the health of the younger generation, encourage their active participation in celebrations held on the occasion of significant dates, and increase children’s interest in organized events are yielding positive results.
