Delegations representing the two largest regions of the Republic of Uzbekistan - Bukhara and Khorezm regions – visited Turkmenistan for a working visit. During the visit, the delegates had study visits to companies and cultural sights of Lebap and Dashoguz velayats, including local history museums. Representatives of the friendly state have visited the agro-industrial complex “Buyan”, which produces a wide range of pharmaceutical products and “Lebapvelayatagyzsuv” association, where they got acquainted with the modern equipment and technologies that are designed to supply clean drinking water to the population. Guests have also visited Turkmenabat cotton mill, praising the level of automation and equipment. The interest of the delegates was aroused by exhibition of textile products manufactured in the country. Ensuring year-round production of environmentally friendly products is the main task of “greenhouse” areas of agriculture. Entrepreneurs have started construction of greenhouses, assessing the profitability of such business projects. The guests could witness this, having been in the greenhouse, built in the district of Serdarabat. The visit program included a visit to Turkmenabat enterprise for production of bread, a part of which is the powerful silo and mill complex. Another visited sight is an equestrian complex with the racecourse. In the northern region of the country, guests from Uzbekistan visited agricultural joint stock company named after S. Rozmetov, got acquainted with the preparations for the spring sowing of cotton, visited and appreciated elite seeds base, shared their experiences with the Dashoguz farmers. Uzbek delegation was given an opportunity to see the progress of reforms in the Dashoguz velayat, which is clearly demonstrated by the magnificent buildings, comfortable housing, and modern social facilities. Guests from neighboring countries visited Bagtyyar Zaman village in the district named after S.A. Niyazov, noting that rural infrastructure is in no way inferior to the urban one. Incidentally, the owners of well-furbished homes, who have celebrated their housewarming here in the summer of 2016, also included Uzbek families. The delegation of Uzbekistan got acquainted with the production of cotton mill and educational process at the Turkmen Agricultural Institute in Dashoguz.
