Turkmenistan’s Printed Products Presented at the International Book Fair Exhibit in Minsk

The Turkmen State Publishing Service is participating in the XXIV Minsk International Book Fair Exhibit that has opened in the Belarusian capital on 8 February. Publishers from over 30 countries are represented at the book show. Turkmenistan’s exhibition stand captured the attention of professional and visitors with the high printing quality of literary, scientific and publicist publications and other printed products. “Tea: Medicine and Inspiration” and “Music of Peace, Music of Friendship and Brotherhood”, the books by the President of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, published in 2016, as well as the series of publications on Turkmen folk art including colorfully illustrated children’s books, generated increased interest among visitors. Samples of contemporary editing and publishing equipment are also presented at the fair. The program of the event that will be running until 12 February includes presentations of new books, meetings with writers and publishers, seminars and round tables. Main themes of the forum this year will be celebrating 500 years of Belarusian book printing and the 135th birthday of Yanka Kupala and Yakub Kolas.
