The diversification of processing branches of Turkmen agrarian and industrial complex provided the chance to reduce the import of sausage products by 5, 8 times in 2016 as compared with 2015. Today the demand of the population for meat, including chicken, milk, eggs is satisfied at the expense of private commodity producers which also provide home market with the basic part fruit and vegetable and gourd products. Past year home producers could replace completely import of eggs whereas in 2015 their import made more than 62 million pieces. In early 2015 according to the Decision of the President of Turkmenistan members of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs were allocated land plots for construction of 37 cattle-breeding and poultry farms, some of objects of which have been already put in operation. Realisation of the given large-scale project proceeds. For example, the new cattle-breeding farm for 1200 cattle, experts of the economic society “Yupek yoly gurlushyk” build now in Ruhubelent etrap of Dashoguz velayat. For today they conduct preparation of land for spring sowing of forage crops. The farm will represent the hi-tech manufacture capable annually to deliver to consumers 100 tons of milk and 300 tons of meat. For these purposes the state has allocated the private enterprise 600 hectares of land for a long term, 17 of which will occupy the building of a farm and auxiliary technical objects, other area will be developed stage-by-stage and for sowing of forage crops. In the same Ruhubelent etrap, by the other private enterprise, one more cattle-breeding farm for production of 100 tons of milk and 80 tons of meat is under construction. Similar objects will appear this year in a number of etraps of the region.
