Construction of 63 Social Facilities Continues Under the Rural Development Program

Active implementation of the National Program of Rural Development targeted at ensuring high living standards even in the most remote regions of the country continues in Turkmenistan. Under the program, the construction of 512.4 km of engineering and communications networks; and 27.1 thousand square meters of residential spaces was completed during the first two months of 2017. Works on building 63 social facilities; 28 water and sewage treatment plants; over 763.4 thousand square meters of residential spaces and engineering facilities are continued. The volume of implemented investments equaled to 156.6 million manats. At the same time, as of today, the construction of 216 facilities has been completed and works continue at 104 sites as part of the implementation of programs aimed at industrial development of the regions.
