To turn the country into a blooming garden; to create forests; and ensure proper care of the planted saplings, the President of Turkmenistan signed the Resolution ordering to hold the nationwide tree-planting campaign on 18 March 2017. Sectoral agencies, provincial administrations and the Ashgabat municipality were instructed to ensure the highest organizational level of the event. It is planned to plant three million saplings, including fruit trees, throughout the country in 2017.
