Cotton planting in Ahal, Lebap and Mary provinces will start on 25 March, while in Dashoguz the works will be commenced on 29 March. According to tradition, the launch of this important campaign will be attended by community elders. As emphasized by President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov at today’s session of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan, quality planting guarantees abundant harvest, therefore it is crucial to ensure timely planting in accordance with all relevant agrotechnical norms. The national leader Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov expressed his confidence that during the Year of Health and Inspiration, the farmers would avail themselves of the government support and secure yet another labor victory, and wished success to cotton farmers and agricultural workers.
