The illustrated edition “Turkmenistan Constructs Bridges to the Future – Bridges of Friendship and Progress” was published before the opening of Turkmenabat-Farab road and rail bridges, built across the Amudarya in Lebap velayat, where it is developing a major industrial center with extensive transport network. The publication reveals the significance of the new bridges in the intensification of manufacturing resources, technological modernization of extractive and processing industry, agriculture, attraction of investments in the development of Lebap velayat. The commissioning of new bridges across the Amudarya river will increase the opportunities for Lebap resources development, where the Garlyk Mining and Processing Combine will be opened soon. And in the course of time, there will be new major industrial centers, and thousands of workplaces. It will give an impetus to the tourism sector development. In addition to technical characteristics of the strategic objects, the publication pages referred to an information about the innovative developments being applied at their erection. In an analytical part of the publication, the new constructions are considered in the context of Turkmenistan’s transport network development. In the new edition, readers will find a lot of interesting photos, reflecting the constructions’ hugeness and narrating the sophisticated art of building bridges.
