President Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov, while on a visit to the city of Turkmenabat, has received Director General of Altcom Financial Industrial Group Alexander Tislenko. Welcoming the head of the Ukrainian company, which is building the essential transport infrastructure facilities – railway and highway bridges, Turkmenabat-Farab, over the Amudarya, the head of state highlighted that Turkmenistan always stands for mutually advantageous cooperation with leading foreign companies with relevant experience, innovative solutions, and production possibilities. Companies, which are able to meet high quality requirements and strict construction schedules, receive preference over others. Stressing the particular importance of the completed projects, President Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov identified the creation of modern well-developed transport infrastructure as a key factor for the development of the country’s economy as well as for increased international transport operations and closer trade-economic ties between the countries in the region. Appreciative of the great trust and support, the businessman highlighted a keen interest of the big Ukrainian building group of companies (he is in charge of) in strengthening its position in the prospective Turkmen market and participating in the upcoming large-scale projects and programs. During the meeting, the parties discussed the priority trends of partnership, given the extensive experience of cooperation in the transport sphere.
