The President of Turkmenistan signed the Decree on Moving the Day-off on the Occasion of the National Spring Festival in accordance with article 81, paragraph 3, of the Labor Code of Turkmenistan. According to the document, the day-off on Sunday, 19 March 2017, will be moved to Monday, 20 March 2017. All institutions, enterprises and organizations regardless of the type of ownership shall ensure the enforcement of this document. Thus, this year Nowruz will be celebrated for three consecutive days, from 20 to 22 March.
