Turkmen masters of fencing won another medal of the tournament ""Blades of Alatau

At the international fencing tournament ""Blades of Alatau"" in Almaty (Kazakhstan), our compatriot Ahmet Agayev won a bronze medal in the discipline ""sword"" in men's competitions. About a hundred athletes from different countries fought for the awards. In the course of preliminary fights, the student of the National Institute of Sport and Tourism A.Agayev won convincing victories over the ""musketeers"" from Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan and for the getting into the final he conceded in a hard struggle to the representative of the host team. To date, the national team of Turkmenistan has five medals - one gold and four bronze medals. Jumanazar Dovletnazarov brought the victory to the team, who was out of competition in the junior group in fencing on rapiers. He took the third place in the sword competitions and in the same discipline he became the bronze medalist in the team classification, where Maksat Khallyev and Danil Podorogin assisted to D. Dovletnazarov. Another ""bronze"" in team competitions on rapiers girls won in the composition of Aylar Melikova, Camelia Melashenko and Valeria Satylova. Now our team will fight for medals in the discipline of ""sabre"". The tournament will last until March 31.
