President Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov received the well-known cultural and art figure of the Republic of Azerbaijan Polad Bülbüloğlu, who arrived in our country to participate in the International Congress ""Asian Games 2017: International Sport Cooperation in the name of Peace and Progress"". President of Turkmenistan has noted that the countries bind the general historical roots, cultural traditions and spiritual and moral values, the evidence to that are the steps taken by both parties on strengthening of neighborliness and cooperation relations, including in the cultural and humanitarian sphere. As the guest said, the successes achieved by Turkmenistan, in particular in the sports sphere, creation of modern sports infrastructure, are the result of enormous attention given by the Head of the State Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov to the development of mass physical culture and the Olympic movement. In this regard, the accent was made on topics related to the forthcoming 5th Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games. Emphasizing that Ashgabat's election as the venue for the Asian Games-2017 is the evidence of ever-increasing world authority of Turkmenistan, the guest expressed admiration for the Olympic complex, that is being built in the Turkmen capital and which has no analogues in the region, including multifunctional sports facilities.
