Issues of socio-economic development, seasonal agricultural work, preparation for significant dates were considered during the working meeting held by President Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov on the direct video link with participation of khyakims of velayats and the capital. Khyakim of Ashgabat city has reported on the situation in the capital, measures for improving the city, perfection of the transport and road infrastructure, preparing for the Holiday of the Turkmen Horse and Asian Games - 2017. The President of Turkmenistan has noted the need to keep the issues of improvement, high quality of construction and timely commissioning of facilities under constant control. The khyakims of velayats reported on measures for sowing cotton and preparing for grain harvesting. Information was provided on the state of things at the sites, which are being built in the regions within the framework of the National Rural Program and preparations for the Holiday of the Turkmen horse. President Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov addressed a number of instructions to the khyakims on organizing the sowing of cotton, preparing for the grain harvesting campaign, and properly carrying out protective measures against pests of agricultural crops. The President of Turkmenistan demanded to keep under control the issues of increasing the pace of construction of social and cultural infrastructure, further improving the living standards of the population.
