53 transactions were concluded at the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan last week. Businessmen from the UK, the UAE, Iraq, Afghanistan and other countries purchased aviation, lightened and industrial kerosene, gasoline, diesel fuel, base oil, oil coke produced at Turkmenbashi complex of oil refineries. Businessmen from the UK and Afghanistan purchased first-run gasoline and diesel fuel produced at Seydi oil refinery and businessmen from China purchased industrial iodine produced at the Turkmenhimiya State Concern. Businessmen from Russia, Germany, Switzerland, the UAE, Turkey, Ukraine, Kyrgyzstan and other countries concluded transactions in foreign currency for hand-made carpets, cotton yarn, cotton fiber, motes. The sum of transactions totaled to over US$ 147 million. Businessmen from Pakistan concluded transactions in deposit manats for cotton seed oil and cotton yarn to the sum of over 3.190 million manats. Turkmen businessmen purchased motes to the sum of over 525,000 manats.
