Ashgabat to Host Palestine Cultural Days

Cultural Days of the State of Palestine in Turkmenistan will be held on 3-5 May of this year. The schedule of the campaign will include concerts; the exhibition of pieces of decorative and applied arts of the friendly country; and film screenings. During the meeting with the Palestinian delegation at the Ministry of Culture of Turkmenistan, the prospects of development of the interstate dialog in the cultural sphere will be discussed. The guests will visit museums and the attractions of the Turkmen capital. Diplomatic relations between the two countries were established in the spring of 1992. In November, 2016, talks were held between the President of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, and the President of the State of Palestine, Mahmoud Abbas. The official opening of the Embassy of the State of Palestine in Turkmenistan was also held then.
