On the ongoing in the capital's Olympic town Asian Kickboxing Championship today, winners and prize-winners in the discipline of ""musical forms"" , as well as several fighting versions were determined. Turkmen athletes in these competitions won 14 medals - six gold, two - silver and six - bronze. In the contests of the continental level in weightlifting, medals were played in two weight classes. ""Musical forms"" - solo performances of athletes to music, imitating fights with one or more opponents. This discipline is divided into two categories - soft and hard styles. Zohre Dzhumabaeva was awarded with two gold medals in the Turkmen team, which turned out to be undefeatable in both styles. Rakhat Myradov and Tamara Khodzhaniyazova also rose to the highest level of the podium. Silver reward in among the assets of Jalal Satlyggulyev, and bronze medalists were Ulugbeg Atamyradov, Serdar Mukhametnazarov and Selbi Rozibaeva. In the fighting versions, our team won two awards of the highest standard, one - silver and three - bronze. Especially outstanding was the victory of Sayyara Bakhramova, who met in the finals of the weight category up to 52 kilograms with a representative of the Indian team. In the first round, Sayyara twice sent her opponent down, and in the first seconds of the second - she completed the fight, knocking out her opponent. Another gold award to the assets of our team was brought by Allamyrat Annamyradov in the category up to 81 kg. A pupil of Honored Coach of Turkmenistan Alexander Snagovsky in a decisive match has defeated a kickboxer from Iran. A silver medal was won by Yazberdy Payanov (54 kg), whereas Azat Dovletov (63 kg), Mekan Amanov (69 kg) and Mustafa Nazhmuddin (75 kg) became bronze medal winners. This success secured the first place in the team event for the national team of Turkmenistan. ... In the competitions in weightlifting today Turkmenistan was represented only in the women's group of the weight category up to 90 kilograms, where our compatriot Sangiz Bagtyyarova took the sixth place with the final result of 155 kg. The victory was won by 18-year-old athlete from China Jiadji Shi, who showed an absolute result (three gold medals). In a snatch she coped with a barbell weighing 108 kg, and in a jerk - 137 kg, scoring 245 kg in the sum of a double event. On the second place is Ying-Yan Luo (231 kg) from the team of the Chinese Taipei and Uzbekistan's weightlifter Dolera Dovronova (204 kg) closed the top three. In the men's competitions in the weight category up to 94 kg, Farkhotbek Sobirov won the highest award with a result of 380 kg (175 kg - jerk and 205 kg - snatch). The second place was taken by the Iranian weightlifter Seidaob Mousavijarahi (372 kg) and ""bronze"" belongs to Ching-Choi Vang from the Chinese Taipei (317 kg). Tomorrow the Asian Weightlifting Championship will end with a draw of medals in absolute weight categories among men and women. Kickboxing competitions will last until April 30.
